Lesson One: The Simple Present Tense of English (単純現在)
Let`s look quickly at some basic grammar points:
When we are talking about I, you, we, or they, we use the dictionary form (explained shortly). When we are talking about she, he or it, we usually have an `s` sound at the end of the verbs.
I/ You / We / They: want/ go/ take.
She/ He / It: wants/ goes/ takes.
Most verbs add -s for third person (三人称) she / he / it: want - wants
Verbs end ing -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -o: add -es. For example:

The simple present tense is used for:
Facts: A fact is a truth (事実）.
The simple is what we can find in the dictionary, for example:
Run, draw, think, swim
Let`s use today run and swim. There are different forms for these words:
It is also used for routines and habits. Something we do everyday. Think of some things we do every day.
People often go to events or do things in the future. For example, next week I will race my car at Central Circuit in Hyogo. We use the simple present to explain events we plan to go to. For example:
I go to basketball practice on Sunday night.
It opens at 6pm on Saturday.

Does and Do
Please remember before the difference between I, you, we, they and She, he and it. The difference is What is called `third person`. For third person, we add the `s`. Do and does are used for questions in the simple present situation, here are examples:
Who, what, where, when, why and how
Now we can introduce the question words. These let us make many questions about many topics. Here are some examples.
